AmpControl is a project to control WinAmp. It is possible to work from a remote machine. The main reson why we did this is because once a visual plugin is started, you don't have control over the playlist, other plugins etc.

After a long time of absence, there's now a new version available: AmpControl v2.0 We are working very hard to update the Ampcontrol project page, and supply the latest information about the features in the new version.
