This is the first alpha release of amaroK.
amaroK is a new media player for KDE. It is based on the aRts multimedia framework, playing all audio and video formats known to aRts. What sets amaroK apart from other media players is it's unique concept of playlist handling. Just drag and drop the files from the built-in filebrowser to the playlist window - very quick and easy.
