AIOconvert is in the alpha stage of development. It will one day be exactly what its name states. As of right now, it converts all of the most popular forms of measurement back and forth from each other. Tested on Win32, Mac, and Linux with success.

AIOconvert Previous Versions and Information: Initial Thought (0.0.0) ________________________________________________________ - I needed to finish a business project in which I had to convert a large amount of different forms of measurement, from one to the other. Long story short, it took an extremely long time and was fed up with the web converters that could only do so much. I thought of creating a converter program that would make the job easier and surely easier on anyone who has to work with conversions. - The coding began towards the end of 2008 Version 0.0.1 ________________________________________________________ - Basic structure was created and was able to convert five different measurements of distance successfully - Had a main intro menu along with a secondary menu. - Simple exit command was added Version 0.0.2 ________________________________________________________ - Navigation was made easier for the end user - categories of conversion such as volume, time, file size, and bandwidth were added Version 0.0.3 ________________________________________________________ - At least 6 methods of conversion were added to each category - The user is now able to see what the exact time is in the program if needed as a reference for conversion - Released to the public as an offical Open Source project. Version 0.0.3.5 ________________________________________________________ - New 'Speed' Catagory added with two methods of conversion under it (mph-kph and kph-mph) - User may now return to the main menu from any of the sub-menu's. This eleminates the need for closing and reopening the program after pressing the wrong conversion etc. - Bug in which the program navigates to a random menu after conversion has been isolated, but not completely fixed. It now appears after some conversions. Version 0.0.4.1(current) ________________________________________________________ - Color is now black and green instead of black and white - New conversion options have been added for various catagories - New "Frequency' Catagory has been added with five methods of conversion under it - New "Temperature" Catagory has been added with 6 methods of conversion (Fahrenheit, Celsius, Kelvin) - All text and menu's match each other - Use of strings has been used for each and every conversion (provides more info at a faster rate to the end user) - Bug in which the program navigates to a random menu after conversion has been fixed.
The command line version of the program has been updated to v0.0.3.5 This features a return to main menu option as well as a new 'Speed' catagory.
A GUI version of AIOconvert has been implemented and is in pre-alpha. The source for the GUI is in the SCM repository and in the FTP.
AIOconvert is now available for download!
