Development for this project has been stale the past year as I have been overseas serving in the armed forces. I am rotating back to the States and plan on picking up development. I will be releasing 0.9.1 in December. This version if mostly a bugfix and code cleanup. At the same time, I will be working on the 1.0 release of ADUMASS. I hope to have it out before the end of the year. The biggest change will be the ability to select other users. Many of you have been requesting this feature. The code is mostly done but I haven't had access to Active Directory for a year so I can not test. That will all change soon. I am also working on a complete rewrite in VB.NET. This should make the code easier to manage and distribute. The goal is to make this a portable application so it can be run off a network share or thumb drive. It will also have an option to install it locally. Installing it will create a start menu group and optional desktop icons. Please feel free to send in any features you would like to see (use the forums) in the coming releases and stay tuned. Andrew
Active Directory UserMod Assistant gives users the ability to manage their personal information in the LDAP database and thus, the GAL (Exchange/Outlook). The interface is designed to be easy to use and easy to modify for administrators. Version 0.9.0 is a major release for this project. Many bugs have been resolved and the interface has been completely redesigned. The most significant improvement is that the application will detect whether the user has permissions to modify the attributes before making the fields available. On top of greater aesthetics, the backend code has been cleaned up to make personal modification easier through detailed style sheets. As of Version 0.9.0, all working source code will be available via Subversion. Check the project page for access.
