ADTPro provides users with a great interface to old Apple II machines. Many of us have acquired machines without disks or drives, or with flaky and questionable hardware. While there are many other options available, ADTPro gives users an option that requires only a serial cable of some variety or, in most cases, a simple mono or stereo 1/8" male to male cable. The system is pretty easy to use, especially for the machines with cassette ports and following the instructions results in a great user experience on all machines and methods that I've tried.

Just brilliant! My //c bootstrapped from bare metal(!) the ADTPro client software very easily and is now able to receive disks!

This is one of the finest applications I've ever used. It is incredibly easy to use. It brings my old Apple II's back to life. It'll bring yours back life also.

I've used ADTPro from four years. This software, combined with CiderPress (http://ciderpress.sourceforge.net) has helped to me for transfer lots of old Wordstar CP/M files to MS-DOS text files. I used in the 80's an Apple IIe computer with a Microsoft CP/M card inside. The Apple computer is still operating and I've installed a Superserial Card inside. Each time (very few) that ADTPro has done errors, I've verified that the disk has errors and it was not a software problem. Thanks to David Schmidt and all the participating people to maintain updated this useful software.
