The ADSL optimizer is an accurate packet scheduling solution for ADSL connections, based on Linux and HTB. The solution guarantees low latency while maintaining full utilization of both upstream and downstream, without wasting link capacity.

Version 0.10-rc1 - [2008/06/21] All the kernel and iproute2 patches has been accepted into the mainline. In kernel 2.6.24 and iproute2 ver.2.6.25. A new iproute2 option, called "linklayer", has been introduced. This ADSL-optimizer release now use this command line option (instead of depending on a statically ATM/ADSL patched "tc"). Lets hope other QoS scripts start to use this "linklayer" traffic control option, to adapt to ADSL links. Behind the scenes, the code has been moved to a sourceforge SVN repository.
