ADEN is a lightweight message passing API over Java's DatagramSockets. It provides 'negotiated' connections in client/server architecture and reliable in-order delivery of datagrams.
ADEN can provide a confident way to exchange objects between Java applications running on separate machines that is similar to TCP but with much less overhead for connection/disconnection and congestion control.
You may also use ADEN to transfer files. Usually you will do that when running on a LAN or can not use TCP for technical reasons such as firewalls.
If you are using ADEN in your application please support ADEN project by mentioning that somewhere in your application UI / project page and add a link to this page.
