Yes I would like to see posterita running out of the box with adempiere!

I guess it will be a very nice complement to the webclient.

    Hello Mario,

    >Does it work on Low's latest improvements?

    Hello trifon:
    of course i would too.
but i like to know if this posterita is gonna be complete intergrated to adempiere i mean you gonna create all ( products, Taxes, Clients etc) into adempiere not into posterita, posterita gonna be just a POS? not a fork?.

sorry for my english is not my first language.

    and thanks for your work.

    p.s. what about libero POS?

    Hi,

    >but i like to know if this posterita is gonna be complete intergrated to adempiere i mean you gonna >create all ( products, Taxes, Clients etc) into adempiere not into posterita, posterita gonna be just a >POS? not a fork?.

Yes. It is fully intergated with Adempiere. Product created in Web POS wll create product in Adempiere and vice versa.
Sales Order created in Web POS will cerate Sales order in Adempiere.

    Kind regards,
    Trifon

Libero POS is still in contributions folder, and i havent seen how to set it up yet, but Victor told me before in the chatroom that its ready and just require sertting up info and possibly test info.

    About POSterita,

Hopefully others can verify to test it in time for next release freeze and declare it indeed this is 'beta' or 'production-ready'.

If it is production ready and require no further contribution, for naming simplicity and also to honour the big contribution from POSterita (for been bassed on ADempiere, and is a standalone production level project (as recognised by Trifon)) i suggest we name our new web based POS as just 'POSterita'.

    Hi Team,

    i just commited Revision: 6740
    http://adempiere.svn.sourceforge.net/adempiere/?rev=6740&view=rev

I found that posterita is using one of the extensions which i have made:
    Cash Payment.
    http://www.adempiere.com/wiki/index.php/Sponsored_Development:_Cash_Payments

I would like to ask you to get latest revision and to chek Payment functionality very extensivly as it has new features and i want to be sure that it works properly and that everyoone knows what is changed.

    Kind regards,
    Trifon

    let's Rock and Roll team,

    >I disable Posterita until Trifon finish with the integration because new Posterita overwrite core model. So >now need wait to Trifon finish with integration.

    with Revision: 6743
    http://adempiere.svn.sourceforge.net/adempiere/?rev=6743&view=rev

    PosteritaWebPOS is integrated and enabled.

This who find first 100 bugs will get promotion(new position or increase of the salary).

    Kind regards,
    Trifon

Note: message regarding promotion was from my old days in SAP :)
Please ignore it if you are not SAP employee.

    Hi Trifon,

thanks for integrating Posterita to ADempiere. I am sure it is a plus.

I haven't updated to Revision >6744 for testing yet. Before I start testing, I would like to understand the changes so I have a better knowledge.

Can you please explain me what the changes concerning payment are and how they work on posterita? I see changes in MInvoice (considerable), MCash, MCashBook, MPayment. What are the differences between Revisions < 6744 and >6744?

Another, general question: does Posterita work on orders or directly on invoices? Though simple and reduced, I work with Xpertya POS and I like most that it works with ADempiere orders without interfering in other aspects: Xpertya POS is self-contained. That is why it surprised me that changes had to be made in those classes in order to integrate Posterita.

Whether we will be the first ones to find 100 bugs, who knows. But for sure we will test it heavily.

    Best regards,
    Mario Calderon

MPayment has new Tender Type: Cash
so yo ucan create cash payments.
It automaticaly creates record in Cash table.

Posterita Creates Sales Order with type standard Order and set Order type to POS.
It automaticaly creates invoice and payment.

    Hi Trifon!

Now when you create a Cash Journal

    System Created Account fact

Cash Expense and other (Cash Different, Invoice , Transfer, Cash Asset)

    Debit Cash Expense
    Credit Cash Receipt

So I understand that you create a payment to each Cash Journal. So we also have an account fact for payment, I think this functionality is duplicate the account fact record.

    kind regards

    Hi Mario,
Is the Xpertya u refering to the swing Pos already in ADempiere?

All POS including POSterita should work the same directly in Orders and Invoices for cash sales. What Trifon told me yesterday was how POSterita created some extra POS field or doctype which has to be corrected as that is not necessary.

    Accounting is correct.
Payment with type: Cash do not create account entries.
    Thisis functionality from Compiere time.

    Hi Trifon,

thanks for your answer. a new Tender Type "Cash " is a great alleviation concerning cash payment. Right now we have a workaround which we will replace with the new Tender Type "Cash". It looks like this is a positive side-effect of Posterita integration.

    Redhuan:
yes, I meant the swing POS. It is what I call a "poor people POS", but it works. In the absence of other POS, we invested a little time to put it to work. I started a thread and bug requests in the forum so our bug fixes found their way into stable/trunk, but there was no echo from the community. I suppose we are the only ones in this world who uses or are interested in it.

    Best regards,
    Mario Calderon

    Hi Trifon!

Sorry I still don't get the idea about creating an entry in a cashbook from a payment, not creating the accounting for the payment. Can you explain it a little bit more this functionality?

    Thanks so much!
