Rating: Average because the pros are outweighed by the cons. Possibly a good application once it is installed, but a real pain to install and, therefore, the hurdle put me and my clients off. The documentation is also very average, confusing (using terms such as "clients" may work for techies, but it does not for end users and on-the-ground implementers) and does not focus enough on end-users' needs and abilities (people who do not have the level of understanding of the techies but vote with their feet); worse, when following (overly complicated and badly written) instructions to the letter, the stuff does not work all the time. There are so many versions and variants that one does not know which to use in which circumstance. Pity, because this looks good on paper. But, it fails by making things too complicated (including the books; my copies are gathernig dust now). Unless simple and straight-forward explanations are provided and techies begin to speak everybody else's language and make Adempiere accessible, I won't be able to recommend this to my clients or even want to use it.

Fine, because it forces you to understand it by setting it up.
