This program shows the time elapsed since its first run in a particulardirectory. I've written it because I believe that people trying to get away from theiraddictions may find it useful to see how long they managed to, until now.

Ceasing development
There are dozens of other similar counters around. I've lost motivation to keep on developing this one. It has only one single advantage over the others: being written in java it's *probably* the only GPL'd one more-or-less-easily runnable under MS-Win, provided you already have a JRE installed, but I'm not even sure about that. For more-or-less-easily runnable I mean you don't need to setup cygwin only to have a GPL'd counter, but I realize that also AddictionFree is not that easy to run. If you believe that this project has a future (after all the stats say it is being downloaded a few times per month), then please go on and take over the development.
