A great CMS that is customizable for just about any job you can think of thanks to the custom fields manager! Be it a gaming site like IGN, Gamespot, etc or a movie database like IMDB, the possibilities are endless! The plugin manager is great and easy to use, unfortunately not very many plugins are currently out for the system. The dashboard has a built in upgrades module that lets you upgrade to the latest version all at once or separately. If you like to tinker around with files but accidentally wreck something, using the update manager you can download and automatically replace said file with a single click! The support is fantastic, the Insane Visions team is always on hand to assist you with any questions you may have regarding the CMS. You can report issues on their forums or even from your Admin panel! I only wish the CMS was more compatible with Internet Explorer, some features in the Admin panel won't load correctly with Internet Explorer yet load fine with a Mozilla based browser (Netscape, FireFox, etc). The default theme also has issues with Internet Explorer. Overall I highly recommend AdaptCMS, it has its flaws like all CMS's do but the positives far outweigh that.

AdaptCMS 1.5 Released
Insane Visions has announced the release of AdaptCMS Lite 1.5 and AdaptCMS Pro 1.5, both available to download/purchase! AdaptCMS 1.5 is largely a minor version, as it comes inbetween 1.4 and the major version, AdaptCMS 2.0. Although minor, this version is more than a few bug fixes - there are numerous new features. The biggest new feature is tagging and "Quick Edit". With tagging you can take advantage of such Web 2.0 features as a "Tag Cloud" and also help visitors search easier. A very useful "Quick Edit" feature has also been added, letting staff/admins quickly edit articles from thefrontend of the site. With AdaptCMS you can manage any type of content website with an advanced sections feature, custom fields, easily editable templates, an advanced permissions area and more that makes AdaptCMS adaptable to any website. AdaptCMS 1.5 is the last version until the big 2.0. AdaptCMS 1.4 Released
Insane Visions has announced the release of AdaptCMS Lite 1.4 and AdaptCMS Pro 1.4, both available to download/purchase! AdaptCMS 1.4 follows in the footsteps from 1.3, considered a "major version", whereas AdaptCMS 1.4 is a "minor release". Although a minor release, the 1.4 release brings numerous new additions and changes to the general CMS script. A new admin search has been added to easily find things, a nifty image re-sizer, RSS Importer 1.2, postpone an article and a few bigger features including custom fields usable now anywhere as well as the ablity to view a section listing by field. With AdaptCMS you can manage any type of content website with an advanced sections feature, custom fields, easily editable templates, an advanced permissions area and more that makes AdaptCMS adaptable to any website.
