Currently use STATA, Excel, MySQL, MS Access, SQL Server, and Java for data management. I was hoping this might be consolidated with ADaMSoft, but found using this software difficult. During install (on XP) I chose to option to store the .jar files in my current directory. This software deleted all .jar files in the folder and replaced it with its own. This meant I had to go back and re-download every last .jar file I was using. Then, it took a lot of reading just to discover how I might import an Excel document. Despite following following instructions, this software always gave an error. The 'example' file did run...so that was not the issue. Searching on Google gives no help, as it does with all the other software I use, which means the only documents a user can rely on are those created by ADaMSoft, and they don't include what to do when things don't work. Hence, the Excel spreadsheet never did get imported...and I will keep using my current solution.
