This is an independent project focusing on the development of drivers which allow the ActiveWire board (sold by ActiveWire, Inc.) to be used on OS X. ActiveWire, Inc. never updated the drivers from their OS 9 version, thus this project began.

activewire-osx 4.0 file released: aw_4.0.dmg
There were some permission issues with the previous version of the ActiveWire suite, which made it incompatible with Mac OS 10.5. The actual source of the current offering hasn't changed since the last release, which was marked also marked as version 4.0. Only a small change was needed to ensure compatibility with 10.5, and therefore the version number remains at 4.0. I apologize for any confusion this may cause, but this small change didn't even warrant a 4.0001 release number :-) If in doubt, simply download the version being offered right here right now.
