(See accompanying file LICENSE_1_0.txt or copy at http://www.boost.org/LICENSE_1_0.txt) Another Backup Plugin (ABP) is a plugin for the KeePass password manager. ABP automatically copies the initially-opened password database to one or more backup files, so that the passwords can be recovered in case of loss. For more about KeePass, see http://keepass.info/ Installation Instructions ------------------------- 1. Download and install ABP in the same way as you would any other KeePass plugin: Unzip the ABP zip file into the folder containing KeePass.exe. 2. Start KeePass with a command line argument specifying the initial database to open, as well as a command line argument of the form /backup.path:BACKUP_PATH. See documentation for additional details. Documentation ------------- Comprehensive documentation is available in any of the following ways: 1. Open the accompanying file "AnotherBackupPlugin.chm". 2. Point your browser to the ABP website at http://ABP-KeePass.sourceforge.net 3. If you have installed ABP, from the KeePass main window select "Tools", and then "Help for Another Backup Plugin". Item 2 above provides the latest documentation updates. The date of last documentation update is shown on the first page. Changes ------- 1. ABP exploits the file transactions option introduced in KeePass 1.17. Old backup files can no longer be destroyed by half-written new backup files. Therefore, this version of ABP requires KeePass 1.17 or later.
