  • Comment: incompatible with leopard?

fyi... I noticed that it does actually work with 10.5.6, however I don't see extra page in the prefs dialog, and it takes a *long* time to load.. initially I don't see any gpg related fields in a contact's page, but then after maybe 5-10 minutes of having address book open, then finally I get the gpg fields (and see a corresponding "ABKey Plugin loaded" in the console).. a bit strange.

  • Comment: incompatible with leopard?

Subversion repository checkings date to 2 years ago, so it seems like the project is not active any more. For what is worth, the plugin is not working for me on 10.5.6 and address book 4.1.1 (699).

  • Comment: Associate key with address entry?

I would love to see this feature added too! So far I'm quite satisfied with ABKey and this and the "per recipient rules" from Thunderbird are the only things I really miss.

  • Comment: incompatible with leopard?

Doesn't seem to work with Leopard Address Book 4.1, nothing is logged to system.log. Let's hope the developers haven't abandoned the project. Thanks.

  • Associate key with address entry?

Would it be possible to associate a key with a particular address entry? This is useful in cases where the email of the recipient is not embedded in the key (ie, their email address changed since they created the key). Enigmail (gpg plugin for Thunderbird) allows per-recipient rules which allow you to associate an email with a key. Rather than GPGMail implementing this, it seems that this could...

  • Comment: prefs disappears in AB 10.5

Well, I read the "read me" file, and it seems that problem already exists in Tiger. Sorry to disturb that support page with a well known issue. I hope someone can fix it one day, with the help of the Apple guys I guess :-) Christophe.

  • prefs disappears in AB 10.5

I install ABKey (Mac OS 10.5.4, AB 4.1.1) - at the first launch it works ! The ABKey prefs were added in AB prefs, great ! But when I restart my computer, and relaunch AB, the ABKey prefs diappears :-( too bad, I'd like to modify it ! Well, not really terrible, but is there something to do ? Thank you for your help! C.Mongrédien.

  • Comment: ABKey dont work with MACOSX 10.5.3

The problem was that gpg was installed via fink and so was not where GPGME expected it to be. Moving gpg or creating a sym-link fixes the problem.

  • Comment: Not Working

Having looked into this, I can't find any reason why ABKey would not work other than the obvious: gpg was not installed or the user didn't move the mouse over the contact pane to trigger Apple's annoying lazy loading of plugins. As for the 64-bit comment, with OSX this should have had absolutely no effect as 64-bit and 32-bit code should run fine together. Has gpg been moved or removed during...
