Release Name: i386 Discontigmem support

Notes: the mem_init() and setup_arch() patches are precursors to the discontigmem patch. They simply break up routines that can be reused by the discontigmem patch. The discontigmem patch provides support for discontigmem on ia32 numa boxes. It has been tested on the IBM NUMA-Q platform, and code for that platform is provided in the patch.
