WlanFE

File Release Notes and Changelog

Release Name: 0.2.0

Notes: WlanFE 0.1.5 This is the first version, which behaves a bit more rationally. Basically the concept is this - everytime you make a change (other than promiscous mode ) the card resets. Now here is the tricky part - if you change the ssid or the channel the card ONLY resets, that's it but.. if you change Monitor/AdHoc/Infrastructure modes then the card is activated. The buttons really help you figure it out. Which ever mode button is depressed is the active mode. Consequently if there are no depressed mode buttons, the card is not active. BTW: The cards are not perferct, nor is the drivers, or my software, the best way to see if the settings took is to check the light on your card. I have noticed that after making many changes to the setup for testing, the driver will tell me that the settings have changed even though my card has not, just something to bear in mind.
