Notes: We're happy to announce the first preview release of KMess 2. Over the past 4 months we've been really busy porting KMess to KDE 4 and making it stable again. This release marks the end of those porting efforts. Currently, KMess 2 still looks much like KMess 1.5.1 but is run as a Qt 4 / KDE 4 application. The real development of new features, like support for msn-http and webcams, is just about to begin. Some features, like receiving hand-written messages and fast retype of previous sentences, have been added already. We're using it as our main client already, but there might still be some issues lurking. Please test this alpha release and tell us how it's working for you!
