File Release Notes and Changelog

Release Name: FinA 3.4.1

Notes:
Install / Migrate Procedure:
Note: These instructions assume that FinA 3.4.1x is installed and configured.
1.    Stop FinA Client 
2.    Stop FinA Server 
3.    Backup the system incuding database
4.    Run Migrate scripts for database 
     (or create new empty database if you do not have
      previous database and/or would like to have empty 
      database)
5.    Uninstall FinA Server (old version) 
6.    Install FinA Server – 3.4.1d 
     (PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE DEFAULT FOLDERS)
7.    Uninstall FinA Client (old version) 
8.    Install FinA Client – 3.4.1d 
     (PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE DEFAULT FOLDERS). 
      If you already have Open Office 2.0 on your computer,
      then when prompted to install Open Office 2.0 
      click Cancel button.
9.    Configure database connection string (name, user name 
      and password) as it is stated in the installation and 
      configuratin manual. You also can use old 
      file(appropriate for your database server): 
C:\fina-server\server\jboss-4.0.5\server\default\deploy\oracle-ds.xml 
C:\fina-server\server\jboss-4.0.5\server\default\deploy\mssql-ds.xml 
C:\fina-server\server\jboss-4.0.5\server\default\deploy\mysql-ds.xml 
 
10.Start Database Server (If stopped)
11.Start FinA Server 
12.Start FinA Client 
 
 
Note: By Default:  folder: <fina-client install folder> is  
C:\fina-client 
<fina-server installfolder> is: C:\fina-server\
