Notes: With so many fixes and improvements in CVS, it's time to release a second preview of KMess 1.5. This release fixes many remaining issues and shortcomings of 1.5-pre1. Not all bugs may be fixed, in that case the release would be called "1.5" already. However, it's recommended to install this version, as it greatly improves the user experience of KMess. The most significant changes are: - added support for now playing information. - added file transfer previews. - fixed critical bugs with the direct file transfer, also caused problems for emoticons and display pictures. - fixed clickable links in the chat window. - fixes problems with emoticon styles. - fixed problems with the installer package. - fixed problems with compiling KMess. - updated many translations. Other notes to highlight: - The now playing feature Detects media from Amarok, Kaffeine, Noatun, KsCD and Juk. - The file previews are generated for any file which has a thumbnail in Konqueror. This includes OpenOffice, HTML and video files! - The chat view is now also able to highlight links without a www. or http: prefix, like slashdot.org, or dot.kde.org!
