0.1.7 Release: 

This new release provides new useful tools
for  articles analysis and graphical 
presentation of results. A lot of bugs have 
been fixed. 
You can now add comments on each issue.

0.1.7 (december 2006-> january 2007)

- Obsolescent 'Table' vizualisation mode removed.

- Fixed some bugs in block_exec.php and display.php

- New Comm_Issue table : links commentaries to daily issues.

- Some esthetical modifications in view_all.php : new icone path
  for the newspapers collections.

- Some changes in 'view_days.php' : easier browsing +
  commentaries linked to issues. Some bugs fixed.
  
- Some changes in 'view_functions.php': form to change 
  the displayed journal. Some bugs fixed.

- New visualisation mode in view/compare mode; new file 
  maquette.php. 

- New visualisation mode for articles position in the 
  article_plus.php frame. New directory in tmp/nobody for non 
  registered users.
  
- Ability to order the articles by 'rubrique' in the compare 
  mode.

- New functionnalities in analysis mode : 'Compare', wich
  provides a toolset to display two newspapers in the same
  time. To be continued...

-Now the 'Affair' listing pops up in a new window ; the
 SQL request includes a new field 'KWRD' (keywords from 
 the affair's title). Re-ordered buttons in the control
 panel of 'analysis' mode. New file 'list_affaires.php'
 in the phpress root, which replaces the old 'ana_afairs.php'
 (file deleted). 

-Some modification in the tool_button() function: now 
 the background of the button turns red when you use it.

-New method to get the version number in index.php

- Added: new function num_format() wich formats
 decimal numbers in french or in english style.
 
- Added: A table with area statistics in the analytical 
view of newspapers's content. 

- Added : a tool to change the type of content and 
create new categories in the 'Article' window.

- Modification : enhanced search in articles database :
new search by keyword of the headline, new option by
place (by continent, by country, + by french cities)

- Bugfix : problem with headlines text area in article 
edition mode -> fixed.

- Added : php.ini exemple files made to run PhPress 
under PHP4 and PHP5 on a linux server (only tested 
with Mandriva). You'll find those files in the 
directory : phpress/program/config

in "article" mode.

0.1.1 - Bugfix + Export_JPEG (september 2006) :

- added new functionnality : export jpeg in scan menu 
(used to complete missing items in ADAM's collection, 
maybe could be used for some others archives centers).

- Fixed some translation errors into english version.

- Fixed bug : forward and backward arrows in the page's 
menu.

- Fixed bug : jpg folder appearing into the scan's load_cd 
system.

0.1.0 (september 2006) :
New version number : the whole system is affected by the 
new database structure ; the reason of this change is 
increased performances, smaller database, best reliability, 
more simple sql requests.

A - Modified database structure : 
-> A new 'Pages' table replaces the tables 'ImagesTiff', 
'ImagesPng', 'FilesPath' and the titles's specifics tables.

-> 'Articles', 'ArticlesGEO' and 'MVK' tables are melted 
in a unique table 'Articles'.
This modification alters the whole software ; olds CDs may 
become uncompatibles with this new database structure. You 
must apply the patches to keep your system working with data 
created by older system.

B - Addition : a 'jpg' directory in images/load, used to load 
in the system jpg images digitized by 'Archives Departementales 
des Alpes Maritimes' ; maybe this script will work with others 
collection if the conventional file name atribution is respected.

C - Some minor bug corrections.

D - New English version of the system messages (still mediocre, 
but every messages are now translated).
