Notes:
These are important notes about upgrading SlackE17. Please read this carefully.
Clean your config files before launching E17
--------------------------------------------
1. move or remove your ~/.e folder.
2. remove any /tmp/enlightenment-* folder.
3. run again xwmconfig to update your ~/.xinitrc
4. if you want to always run entrance (xdm replacement) at boot,
do something like:
# echo '/etc/rc.d/rc.entrance start' >> /etc/rc.d/rc.local
EAP are now deprecated
----------------------
EAP files are now deprecated, E17 will now use *.desktop files.
Both format must work, but you should convert your old EAP files with
'eap_to_desktop' utility.
Old themes are broken
---------------------
Old themes and backgrounds from april are not any more compatible with E17. You
have some new themes and init screens in e_themes package. You can build your
own backgrounds or download new ones at <http://www.get-e.org/>
Where is the systray?
---------------------
Yeah, E17 doesn't provide anymore a systray utility. Rasterman explained
several times why it's not easy to implement.
"The Systray specification that somehow users seem to ask for and applications
seem to use that is specified <here> primarily, is not as nice as you may
think. It is in fact rather ugly and limited. It leads to awful interfaces and
inconsistent behavior and display." -- Rasterman
Because systray is somehow useful, I included 'trayer' in SlackE17. To use it,
uncomment the related line in your ~/.xinitrc or in /etc/X11/xinit/xinitrc.e17
About shelves
--------------
The big changes of the last months was about modules. You now have to put them
all in shelves. This can be seen as a regression, because the shelves must be
on a side of the screen. That means, you can not put yet again a module in the
middle of the screen. You can create as much shelves as you want, and customize
them a lot (like transparency). You'll be able to do more later.
How to use emphasis
-------------------
emphasis is a music player using MPD. Before playing the first time, you should
configure MPD (# vim /etc/mpd.conf), create a database ( $ mpd --create-db).
You must then launch mpd before starting emphasis.
Vera fonts
----------
Most duplicate Vera fonts were removed and replaced by links to the system ones.
This saves a lot of space.

Fonts were removed from e17/e CVS so this release of SlackE17 will hopefully
