For a quick installation check the Install page on 
art homepage (http://art.sf.net) or read the readme file.

To upgrade from 1.6:
 just deploy the archive

To upgrade from 1.5 or below:
 see art_tables.sql for some database changes
 then just deploy the archive

Requirements:
 Java 1.4 or upper - Api Servlet/JSP 2.3/1.2

* Lov now support dynamic sql/tags
