Notes: The experimental client-side Vindaloo software (Windows only, though planned to be ported) allows data to be taken in through the microphone and sent to be broadcast. There is also experimental, partial support, for duplicating what is sent to the soundcard, to for example broadcast music played in absolutely any music player, voicechat conversations, or even system sounds-- "what you hear is what you broadcast." Unfortunately, "partial and experimental" means exactly that. It requires a special Windows driver (not included at this time) which is currently buggy and causes system lockups. So for now, effectively Vindaloo is limited to the microphone. However, DSRE still includes support for running as a "courier." In this mode, it will relay data from another, seperate, radio server.
