Notes:
The Software should run on MS Windows (98, 2000, XP and Vista), PC-Linux, Sun Solaris, and Mac OS X. Sonogram is programmed in Java and you will need a recent Java Runtime (http://www.java.com/getjava) installed at least in version 1.5. If you want build interactive three dimensional Perspectogram plots you need Java3d (http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/3D/). Special note Mac OS X: Mac OS X does not ship per default the Java Runtime in version in 1.5. This version must be explicit installed and explicit enabled with the "JavaPreferences" application in the Utilities->Java->J2SE5 folder. At this time (February 2006) the Java version 1.5 is not available via the Mac OS X build SoftwareUpdate function and we suggest to manually install it from the Apple Java pages (http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/java/). Java3D is included in Mac OS X version 10.4 or later. Java3D for Mac OS X systems before 10.4 can be downloaded here (http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/apple/java3dandjavaadvancedimagingupdate.html).
