Mailing Lists is a module for phpWebSite. It allows admins to
send out mass messages to visitors who have subscribed to
various lists. This module is ideal for community news
websites using phpWebSite.

Users of phpWebSite 1.5.2 or later should download Mailing
Lists version 1.2.1.  Users of phpWebSite 0.9.3-4 or 0.10.x
should download version 0.5.6.

    - Subscriber Admin now allows an Admin to add "anonymous" users to a list.  When an admin
      adds a user via the Subscriber Admin, a confirmation email is NOT sent out.  Make sure
      the email address gets typed right!  (Thanks Gene Stapp for the suggestion.)

    - RFE #791989: Footers can now have an unsubscribe link.  To use, just place "[URL]" where
                   the link is needed (without quotes).
    - Admin can now add all the website users to a mailing list.  If the list is double opt-in,
      the user still has to click the link in the email.  The script does check current
      subscribers so no duplicate users will be added.

    - BUG #803042: Script now properly checks to see if the emails were sent ok.  Thanks to
                   Ivan Havlicek for discovering this issue.
    - BUG #805182: The subscription menu now properly displays the subscribed lists properly.
                   The warning image and the archive link could appear on lists when not
                   supposed to if a certain condition was met.
    - faq.txt added.
    - If a subscription hasn't been activated, no longer send that user an email when they
      unsubscribe.  This will prevent two emails from being sent to the wrong email address.

    - Admin interface slightly changed again.  Hopefully I finally got it right.
    - Slashes now removed from subject of the email before it's sent out.

    - BUG #769972: The Double Opt-in confirmation emails contained the hub
                   URL and not the branch URL on branch sites.  Fixed.
    - BUG #769975: The module now checks for malformed email addresses before
                   displaying the subscription menu.  If address is malformed,
                   user is linked to the page to update the address.

    - RFE #764833: Email footer support has been added.  It can be toggled in
                   the new settings menu.

    - Added "Menu messages" to confirm opperations.
    - Minor security bug removed.
