Notes: Tea Timer ReadMe ------------------ Description =========== Tea Timer is a notification tray application that acts as a virtual egg timer/tea timer. You can use it to alert you when your tea is steeped, your coffee is brewed, the pizza in the oven is done, etc... Features ======== * Mulitple timers can be active at once. * Six user defined presets for commonly used timers. * Pops up a windows in the middle of the screen to alert you when a timer pops. * Optionally plays a sound of your choosing. * Ability to pause and resume timers. * Alarm mode creates a timer to pop at a specific date and time. * Quick add buttons adds time in common increments so timers can be create faster and easier. Program use =========== When you first launch Tea Timer it will appear in you notification tray. Double-click the icon to set a timer or configure the application. Right- click the icon to choose a preset or close the application. Use the "Add Timer" tab to set a new custom timer or to start a preset timer. Use "Add Alarm" tab to create a timer to pop at a specified date and time, rather than in a specified amount of time. Use the "View Timers" tab to view information about running timers and/or to cancel any timers prematurly. You may also pause and resume a timer from this screen. Configuration options ===================== Presets: Use the form under this tab to edit or define new presets. Any preset you define will appear on the preset buttons under the "Create Timer" tab and on the context menu when you right-click on the tray icon. You may define up to six presets. Leaving the "Name" field blank disables that particular preset. Configuration: * Play audible alert: Here you may specify to have a .wav file of you choosing play to alert you when a timer has popped. * Show visual alert: You may choose if you want a graphical popup on your screen when timers pop. * Use 24 hour time: When checked, time is display in 24 hour format within the program.
