Notes: How to install Web File System 1.X If you read this it means you've already unpacked the archive. Now you have to copy the main folder (WebFileSystem_1.X) to your web space. 1. First go to http://your.domain.com/..path_to_filemanager/install/install.php -complete the form -if there is no error, after clicking install, it means you've done it !! You have installed Web File System ! 2. Delete the install directory 3.(Optional -you can do this later) Edit the config file -edit this file conf/conf.php there are more things to configure and customize here as : - images you use - style sheets (only 2 available - you can add or edit your own) - user rights , quotas - user interface, menu width, etc. 4. Now you can go to http://your.domain.com/..path_to_filemanager/ or http://your.domain.com/..path_to_filemanager/index.php and login with your administrator details that you supplied earier in the installation page. And that's it ! Have fun !
