Notes: The most notable change to the 15 people that have download this is that the versioning has taken a step backwards, pvs is nowhere near a 1.0.0 release. I have taken this step since none knows about the program, so now-one will know. This release marks a near complete rewrite of everything -- again. I hope that this will be the last such event. The html parsing however still remains nearly useless, but it works to some useable extent. The ftp and http routines have been made more generic ie. They can now be easily abstracted from pvs and be used for more advanced functionality. There still remain problems with connections timeing out on http links when the size of the entity is not known. The version extraction/removeal rountines have been given a name change to make it more clear what they do and have generally been clean up. The database routins have been totally rewritten and are really much faster now -- expesially searches.
