Release Name: 1.1

Notes:
This release is mainly a documentation release.  Several files have been
added to provide the necessary documentation for the project.  Check out
the ChangeLog to see all the additions and changes.

Changes:
1.1 - July 1, 2004 (timespan team) :

  * Shortened basename() implementation by using code from GNU libc.
                                                                                
  * Added INSTALL-win32.txt for Microsoft Windows users wishing to build with
    Visual C++ 6 or Visual Studio .NET.
                                                                                
  * Added INSTALL-cygwin for Windows users wishing to build timespan by using
    the cygwin environment.
                                                                                
  * Corrected spelling, grammar, and capitalization errors in mantimespan.html.
                                                                                
  * Added mantimespan.txt and mantimespan-win32.txt, both with the same
    content as mantimespan.html, but in plain text format.  The difference
    between the two is the style of the line endings.
                                                                                
  * Changed version() to use the PACKAGE_VERSION symbolic constant defined in
    config.hpp.
