qsynaptics is a simple QT based configuration frontend for the
excellent synaptics touchpad driver which can be found at
http://w1.894.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad/
qsynaptics requires this driver installed, please check above URL
for detailed description how to install it!
REQUIREMENTS
* latest QT Designer (3.2) and QT 3.2 to develop / compile
the project. Maybe you are lucky with an oder version, too...
* Synaptics Touchpad driver http://w1.894.telia.com/~u89404340/touchpad/
this means "synclient" and "syndaemon" should be in your path
* the program makes use of the following commands:
sh, ps, grep, tr, whereis, xdpyinfo, cut, sed, killall
Most systems should be capable of those
* X shared memory configurability needs to be enabled in XF86Config.
This is achieved by passing the option "ShmConfig" "on" in the
synaptics' input section
INSTALL

(try out "qsynaptics --help" )
