Notes:
apt-proxy version 1 with support for RPMs, contributed by Achim Dreyer

I have a few patches against apt-proxy 1.3.6. These Patches are mainly for compatiblity with apt4rpm for SuSE (http://linux01.gwdg.de/apt4rpm/). There is also a .spec-File to create a rpm package. I'm currently using it as a caching gateway on Debian sid and on SuSE 9.0 without problems.

Create rpm-package:
# cd $PKGROOT
# rpmbuild -bb ./usr/share/doc/apt-proxy/apt-proxy-1.3.6-1.spec


Changes:
New:
/usr/share/doc/apt-proxy/apt-proxy-1.3.6-1.spec

Completely rewritten:
/var/lib/dpkg/info/apt-proxy.postrm
/var/lib/dpkg/info/apt-proxy.postinst

Patched:
/usr/sbin/apt-proxy
/etc/apt-proxy/apt-proxy.conf
