Changes: Added XMPP (Jabber) notification plugin, contributed by Robert Fuller. Added JDBC probe extension, contributed by Jon Steele. Added Mac OS X integration plugin, created new Mac OS X "native" distribution for easier install and limited Finder integration on Mac OS X. Added 'j14' binary distribution for use on Java 1.4, or Java 1.3 with an XML parser already installed, to cut down on download size. Tweaked client code to be nicer with the network. Previously, Mars would send many unnecessarily small TCP segments when probing services with more complicated headers (especially HTTP).
