Changes:
- Fixed bug which caused the search pages to not display results from thread replies
- Fixed bug which caused the back button not to work on the post new message page
- Fixed bug causing post status not to be preserved on previews
- Fixed two small errors on the movethread page
- Fixed bug which could cause db array lists to eat memory exponentially in rare situations. Note, this will only stop future problems. If this has happened to your KBoard, the damage is done in which case I recommend wiping the affected db records.
- Fixed semi-serious security bug which gave non-mods the ability to attempt to edit any post, although they would fail every time
- Fixed bug in which the submission of an empty string in a forum specific search would generate errors
- Fixed posts per page setting not working on the news page
- Added a complete upgrade guide in the README which should make people upgrading from the previous release easier
- Note, the upgrade guide will be included in all future releases as well
- Added ability to make site sections files OR db records
- Added support for section categories
- Added option to make searches case insensitive
- Added ability to lock forums (prevents new threads, not replies)
- Added ability for registered users to comment on news posts if the news poster opts-in
- Added long awaited option to disable UBB code in posts
- Added ability to subscribe to a thread without posting in it at the bottom of each thread page
- Added ability to control post status or move thread for moderators at the bottom of each thread page
- Added Jabber, Yahoo, and MSN handles to account info
- Added ability for admins to revoke sig/pic privs
- Added color-inverted xwindow.gif now called ixwindow.gif for people who want to use a predominantly black color scheme
- Added clicky resort buttons on the threadlist page
- Added new image "images/site/arrow.gif" and its inverted counterpart "images/site/iarrow.gif"
- Changed how the paging system works: among other smaller things, it is now trimmed so that hundreds of pages doesn't cause the page to barf numbers
- Changed how the last edit system works: it's no longer part of the body text of the post
- Improved instructions on forms
