RELEASE NOTES
Well, the first release of ASP Nuke is finally here! Head on over to the downloads area (SourceForge.net) to download the software and start installing it. I hope that you find this software useful and give me some useful feedback so that I can make this application stable.
I promised to release this today, and where I'm at, it is about an hour shy of midnight, so I made this deadline. I had hoped to offer complete, nearly bug-free application with a complete framework. Sadly, there are some core components missing from the framework.
One of the things on my wishlist was a site updater as documented on this web site. I had to push that back in order to create true modularity allowing you to re-position and manipulate the module capsules which appear in the left and right-hand columns.
I also managed to create a generic module configuration system which means that you will not have to create a module configuration form or any database tables to hold this configuration. You can define specific parameters to configure your module using the module parameter administration.
Details on how to create modules and themes for ASP Nuke will be posted on the web site in the near future. I wanted to get the code out there so that some others could help contribute to this project. It's hard for one person to tackle a project of this magnitude while holding down a full-time job.
