Notes:
New in this release:
1. Fixed the source to build on gcc3.
    This should allow linc to be built on Red Hat 8.0 and other platforms with
    gcc3.

2. Improved the daemonization code.
    Now doing a double fork() instead of a single fork(). This'll mostly affect 
    the Solaris platform.

3. Added an initscript.
    The script will not be enabled by default. You'll have to turn it on 
    either manually or using ntsysv etc. You can also turn it on/off by
     running service linc start|stop|restart|reload|status.
