guanxiCRM is a comprehensive open source Customer Relationship Management package
specifically designed for enterprises doing business in Greater China environment.
The Chinese notion of "Guanxi" (~Relation) and "Mianzi" (~the Face) are carefully
integrated.
guanxiCRM is a server application for small and mid-sized businesses to manage their
sales force and customer service representatives. It runs indifferently on Windows
2000 and LINUX sever with APACHE and PHP installed. guanxiCRM features
a browser-based interface, it requires a database system such as MySQL, Oracle 8,
MS-SQL, PostgreSQL, interBase, SyBase, Frontbase.
The first public version of guanxiCRM consists of two functionally integrated parts:
- Sales Automation for keeping track of information about accounts, contacts,
sales opportunities and most importantly in Asian business: "guanxi and mianzi"
(e.g., contact information, guanxi, relationship and guanxi interaction history,
mianzi nmanagement, revenue opportunity, close date, probability, and so on)
- Activities for managing individual and group calendars, to-do, and e-mail.
Next releases of guanxiCRM will also integrate:
- Help Desk Service for managing customer queries and complaints.
- A reporting system for creating reports from customer data.
