Longship

     The Longship project is a community build of Camino [1]. It is
Camino plus patches that provide functionality and/or bug fixes that
have not yet been accepted into the main Camino builds. The goal of
Longship is to give "air" to various experimental patches in order to
iron out the bugs and determine if they are appropriate or popular for
inclusion in Camino. It's also for fun for the community developers to
try things out.

Important
    Please read this entire document before you use Longship,
especially the bugs section.

Patches
    All of the patches included in Longship must be in bugzilla. Send
a request to longship@mozdev.org mailing list to request your patch to
be included in future builds of Longship.

A single patch is also included with this distribution. This unified
patch is the integration of all the above patches.

Alumni
    Some Longship patches from the previous version of longship are
now a part of the regular Camino build. Here are the Bugzillas from

License
    Longship is licensed under the same terms as Camino.

Installation
    You can install Longship simply by dragging it to wherever you
want to keep it, usually the Applications folder.

BUGS ***IMPORTANT***
    Since longship is an experimental platform it probably contains
bugs. Bugs for Longship should go into Bugzilla [2], but please mark
them clearly as being bugs in Longship. Please do not pollute the
Bugzilla database with spurious Longship bugs, especially if the bug
is not present in Camino.

    The longship@mozdev.org mailing list is also a good place to post
any feedback, comments, etc., that you might have. You can join the
mailing list or peruse the archives from the web site,
http://longship.mozdev.org/list.html .

    Better yet, if you can determine which of the patches is causing
the bug, please find the bug for that patch and comment there. That
will help the patch writer improve the patch and make it more likely
to enter into the regular Camino build. That's what Longship is all
about!

    The relevant bugs are listed under the patches section.
