Notes: This is a modification of GNU libiconv 1.8, which is needed for the Gedcom parser library on systems that don't have glibc. Compared to the base package (which is available on gnu.org), it adds ANSEL support. The Gedcom parser library also runs with the non-modified package, but then there is no ANSEL support. There is also a fix added for libiconv on MacOS X, unrelated to the actual gedcom parser. Both changes will be forwarded to the maintainers of libiconv. You need version 0.17.1 or later of the Gedcom parser library to use libiconv or libiconv-gedcom.
