The bigdata project seeks to develop a robust infrastructure for scale-out data fabrics. To date, bigdata has been primarily self-funded, with some support from the United States Government. Over time we hope that bigdata will become widely used, taking its place besides BerkeleyDB (embedded databases) and MySQL (relational databases) as a critical enabler for commercial and open source activities alike.
Donations will support ongoing development.
