The Pyrasun Java Libraries, and most particularly the EmberIO library, have involved hundreds of hours of development effort in one of the more challenging areas of software development - trying to do I/O fast, and trying to do it correctly as well. All of this work is available under a BSD license, meaning you can do with it basically as you wish without restrictions. If you've found this work useful, and you happen to have some cash lying around gathering dust, why not chuck some this way? Any and all monies donated to this worthy cause will be invested in testing software and hardware, most particularly a couple of Linux systems to prove this out in a Linux environment. And if you don't have the cash, or don't believe in this sort of thing, don't sweat it - that's what BSD licensing is all about!
