I started working for the University of Washington in 1991 as a Fiscal Technician: Reviewing, analyzing assigned departmental budget activity report (BAR) for the Facility Management Office (FMO) projects. Thereafter, I moved to Portland Oregon State and was gainfully employed by US Bank in their then Co-operate office at the CSR department. In 1998 the Bank merged with the First Bank of Minnesota and their headquarters was moved to Minnesota Minneapolis. I moved back to Seattle in the same year and was working on temp positions with the UW and also in construction. By the end of 1999 to mid 2002 I worked for VoiceStream as a Revenue Accountant. I met with Jay Scherrer in 1999 who introduced me to Linux computing and helped to build my first Linux computer. Prior, I was a MAC guy, point and click. He also introduced me to programming in Perl and became a SPUG member in 2000. We did our first Practical Tax presentation to the group in December of 2001 after about six months of intensive work on the project. Masters Public & Health Administration (Portland State Universty, Portland Oregon State) 1998.
