I am using Xchat on my PC, and Colloquy Mobile to connect from my iPhone. If Xchat is already attached and I connect from my phone, I get output like this in each channel the iPhone client has joined:

* #smth Banlist: Tue Dec 08 01:00:00 *!*@*.ng moo.slashnet.org
* #smth Banlist: Tue Dec 08 01:00:00 *!*@*.gh moo.slashnet.org
* #smth Banlist: Tue Dec 08 01:00:00 *!*@*.fr moo.slashnet.org
* #smth Banlist: Tue Dec 08 01:00:00 *!*@*cloak-E1B01395.dyn.optonline.net moo.slashnet.org
* #smth Banlist: Tue Dec 08 01:00:00 *!*@cloak-7509FE59.hsd1.wa.comcast.net moo.slashnet.org
* #smth :End of Channel Ban List

I don't have the same issue if I attach with a second Xchat client, or if Colloquy Mobile is attached first. I've tried using route_replies to prevent the problem, but it doesn't help. This may be considered to be a bug with Colloqy or Xchat, so feel free to close it if you feel it's inappropriate.

    Well, I'd say it's a bug in neither. route_replies just doesn't route banlist requests (yet?), because they don't fit into how it works currently. :(

    I'll keep this open for the time being.
