Trying to use the POP Up player over SSL is causing me some problems. There seems to be a broken URL only in the pop up player.

From the headers.. there is a space between http: and the // when trying to download this image from adobe.com. This seems to cause a problem with some proxies. I'm assuming I can edit this code, but just have not looked yet. I'm going to see if I can change this to SSL in the code somewhere.

GET http: //www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif HTTP/1.1

Anyone else see this?

Discussion

  • Unfortunately, the code in question is hardcoded in the theme.php file and should not be causing a problem...(at least the space is NOT in the code)... So it is most likely elsewhere...

Unfortunately, I don't have access to a machine with SSL setup so, I'll need more info...

But you should only get that code if you don't have Flash installed...

  • If this is still a problem, re-open.
