first of all thanks for all the efforts to provide a driver for the zd1211.
I am trying to get a ZyXEL ZyAIR G-220 USB stick to work.
My setup is a rather unmodified Slackware 10.2 setup, with a kernel
2.6.13. The driver (revision 38) from http://zd1211.ath.cx/zd1211
compiled fine. However, as soon as the module is loaded and the stick
is actually recognized, the cursor starts to blink furiously fast.
After a few seconds, the screensaver will turn on. My system clock is
going wild and advances much too fast! As soon as I 'rmmod zd1211',
everything is back to normal.
Apart from that, I had a similar error as was reported recently on this
list. The driver does not find the ESSID, even though 'iwlist wlan0
scan' will show that ESSID. I was also not able to set the frequency
using 'iwconfig wlan0 freq xxxG'.
I would be glad if you could help my in any way with my setup. If you
need further information, please tell me.

Sorry, can't help you on this one...

Try 'iwpriv set_Region X' with
- does the stick connect then?
(I noticed that dot11Obj.AllowedChannel was not set correctly here often,
even with different sticks - seems there is a bug on initialization
