You can test this alpha version. Change the theme. In ms Browsers, no run correctly. It's only a style problem.
In this versión all are a module except the engine. Je, je, je, No ... sorry ... is only the way
enjoy with this
Release contains several bugfixes as well as new features and thus this is an essential update for all users.
This version is a nearly complete code rewrite of the old YaWPS system, which makes it more secure, faster and smaller. That's why I hopped from 0.3 to 0.6 in the version history. I think YaWPS is ready for entering beta phase ;)
It now uses Perl techniques like taint checking, fully enabled internal warnings and strict pragma.
There are a lot of new freatures implemented like ban management, block administration, page content management, module support and RDF generation. You are now able to easily write your own YaWPS modules and integrate their features completely into YaWPS. I've already written a Gallery module, which is quite basic in its functionality, but it demonstrates well how to write a module for YaWPS. Planned modules are Chat, FAQ-section, Downloads and Userpages.
The theme layout management is now easier and more fexible (the style is fully CSS driven).
It is highly recommended that you upgrade your old YaWPS to 0.6!!!
The new YaWPS release contains some great new features such as help system, top 10. A lot of bugs have been fixed too.
Yes, finally there it is. YaWPS 0.2 is available for download.
The new release comes with some bugfixes and new and improved features (i.e. search engine, link administration and many more).
It is strongly recommended that you upgrade to 0.2 from previous versions immediately.
... for all folks without developer CVS-access or people who don't know how to access CVS repository anonymously.
You are now able to download a daily snapshot of YaWPS at http://yawps.sourceforge.net/YaWPS_CVS.tar.gz.
You are welcome to experiment with it and post code modifications.
But please remember, this is a work in progress. You use this software entirely at your own risk. So don't use it unless you know what you are doing ;)
Just thought I let everyone know that I'm still around, just don't have enough time to spend it on this project right now. I hope I can make a new release of YaWPS within a few weeks or so, with alot of bugfixes... so stay tuned ;)
I made a package called yawps-opt which contains releases with optional files, that arent't included in the yawps releases. These files are mainly language packs or addons(?).
This release is again mainly a big bugfix. Thus there are few new features, but there are some like full IIS-support, SMTP-mail, personal userpage and a new memberlist routine.
You can download it at http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=29456&release_id=54572 .
This is a bugfix release it does not contain many new features but fixes some of the outstanding issues.
Ok, after fiddling for ages I've uploaded the very first release of YaWPS (Yet another Web Portal System).
It still lacks a few planned features and some nice documentation, but it seems to be already kinda stable, so here it is ;)
