An error in the Java part of CMakeLists.txt for bindings generation with SWIG prevent the generation of the bindings. The error come from a double specification of the -outdir parameter.

The attached patch correct this, and add a default package ("yarp") for the generated bindings.

  • Hi Severin,
Thanks for the patch! It seems some version change of either cmake or swig makes our use of -outdir a problem. Could you do me a favor, and check if doing:
    SET(CMAKE_SWIG_OUTDIR "${CMAKE_CURRENT_BINARY_DIR}/generated_src")
    just before:
    SET(CMAKE_SWIG_FLAGS ...)
works in your situation? I'd like to keep the generated output going to the generated_src directory, to stay compatible with some documentation that's floating around for YARP with Matlab (via Java).
    Thanks again,
    Paul
