Hi all, I would like to use Yaml for report generation for a perl test framework. I currently do not want to use a full fledged yaml emitter. Now what is the correct and most simple way to escape my strings ? Hugo __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Tired of spam? Yahoo! The double quoted style will always work, so you can just ignore the other styles and use only this one. The double quoted style works pretty much like you'd expect, \x for 8 bit characters, \u for 16 bit unicode characters, \U for 24 bit unicode characters.
