This is not pedantically correct. You actually mean "trailing newlines after
indentation whitespace has been stripped".

    # Assume '_' is a space.
    ---
    this: |
    ____Foo
    __

    ____
    is this: "Foo\n"
    ---
    this: |
    ____Foo

    __
    ______
    is this: "Foo\n\n\n  \n"
    ...
