OK, I just spent most of the day editing the latest spec. I did horrible things to it, such as restructuring, ane re-wording, ans fixing examples, and removing an unnecessary production, and I don't quite recall what else :-) At this point I can't bear to look at it any more ;-) so I'm handing it off to you, Clark. Have Claudia wield her red pen and wreak your favorite havoc on whetever remains... BTW, two issues: - I think the TOC is missing some entries. I only noticed it now as I'm sending it... - Your examples used $1,234.56 which is doubly illegal. I changed it to 1234.56, but... do we want to go to the "fixed precision" land? We also don't allow for 123.123.123.123 IP addresses and probably lots of other application-specific types - perhaps it is best to leave it as it is and add it later in yaml.org. I think it is looking really good now... Have fun, Oren Ben-Kiki |
